“Jurong is never short of supper places, from Ah Lian Bee Hoon in Pioneer to Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak in Boon Lay.” – @slickshop

“The best part about living in Jurong East is shopping in not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 shopping malls within a stone’s throw away from the MRT: JEM, Westgate, Jcube, Big Box, and IMM outlet mall!” – @thornsofroses

“Jurong East often hosts pasar malam throughout the year (near Jcube walkway).” – @mooying.

Bukit Batok/ Bukit Panjang

“Bukit Batok has the best food like Soon Kee Fried Hokkien Mee, Ma La Xiang Guo and the famous Shi Mei Hainanese Chicken Rice.” – @ionshop

“Hillion Mall open area is pretty hapz place. In the evenings, there will usually be aunties doing Zumba and shouting at the TOP of their lungs happily. Half of the onlookers are stunned like vegetable and the other half want to join in but paiseh. If there is no Zumba, there will be kids practicing their longboard skills or bicycle stunts. Not as loud but pretty lively too.” – @quick_sell

Bukit Panjang is just 30 minutes from hustle and bustle of the city yet you can always find a place to wind down – be it in the many parks or lost in the forest. The Pangsua reservoir boasts a boardwalk over the water and a swimming complex overlooking it.” – @ayxin

“If you haven’t had the legendary Ke Kou Mian at Blk 163 Gangsa Road, you have let yourself down as a Bukit Panjang resident! This bowl of koka noodles sure packs a punch and is painstakingly brewed with natural chicken bone stock topped with pig liver and seafood. Long queues await, especially on weekends; but do note that it is closed every Thursday.” – @vegaslow97

Choa Chu Kang

“Teo Heng Karaoke at Junction 10 is very very cheap :)” – @notxxnhun

“Choa Chu Kang 302 Foodhouse has many 24 hour stalls! My favourite stall is the economic bee hoon stall, which always has a long queue.” – @jihoonx

Buona Vista/ Clementi

“Supreme Ramen Xiao Long Bao is a hawker stall serving authentic Chinese dumplings made by a Chef that used to work in a restaurant.” – @hetta04

“When Pokemon Go first came out, the whole Clementi Central fountain region was filled with 50+ people just gathering about playing. It was actually really cool to see everyone enjoying themselves together like that, everyone was so happy and chill.” – @the_tiny_shop
