The first time I tried Xin Cuisine was at Singapore Tatler’s event last year, and so I was delighted to try their CNY menu, hosted by @eatigo_sg and @holidayinnsgatrium.🀩 β€’ Among the dishes I tried, I was impressed by Xin’s Home-style Roast Duck with Tea Leaves, with its crispy skin and tender meat.πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ I also loved the Stir Fried Wagyu Cubes with Longan and Black Pepper. The beef cubes were flavourful and juicy. β€’ For dessert, we were served Mango Pomelo Sago with Dragon Fruit and Deep Fried Nian Gao, which was an unexpected and refreshing combination to me. Highly recommended! β€’ Xin Cuisine’s CNY menu starts at $188++ for 2pax, up to $3796++ for 10 pax. Xin Cuisine is not available at Eatigo during CNY, but you can get up to 50% discount if you book via Eatigo on other days. β€’ β€’ Join Eatigo’s CNY Angpao Draw from now till 28 Jan 2019, and stand a chance to win up to $1000 worth of prizes. Good luck!πŸ€πŸ€ β€’ Thanks to @eatigo_sg and @holidayinnsgatrium for having me, and to @sgnomster for extending the invite. β€’ β€’ #food #instafood #instagood #igfood #chinesefood #foodie #foodies #delicious #dinewithflorence #foodphotography #foodlover #foodbeast #foodporn #foodstagram #foodgasm #cny #cny2019

Time to DUMP all the negativity & jiayou for the week ahead! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ . Be sure to eat these Real Food's Steamed Dumplings ($10.80 for 8pcs) while they are hot! 😍😍😍 Beneath the thin dumpling skin lies a blend of over 10 ingredients – juicy mushrooms, chopped carrots, coriander, crunchy turnip, celery, french bean, soft tofu etc. Don’t worry about any unpleasant vegetable taste at all – the earthy flavours of the mushrooms were definitely more overpowering (in a good way). πŸ˜‰ . Drizzled with organic sesame oil and tamari, the dumplings sure carried a fragrance that was pretty alluring. πŸ˜‹ Texture-wise, this would not lose out to their meaty counterparts – chewy & crunchy with a firm bite. Enjoyed this a lot – a must-try here! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» . Too bad they ran out of the gyoza style – pan-fried till golden brown & served with balsamic vinegar & ginger slices. 🀀 Perhaps next time!
