People are always talking about “upgrading” from a HDB flat to a condo, and it’s true, living in a condo does come with its perks, most notably its facilities.
We’ve previously compiled a list of the most unconventional condo facilities (spoiler alert: bowling alley), so now we thought we’ve cover Singapore’s best condo swimming pools. Think jacuzzi coves, infinity pools, ginormous water slides and the sort of stuff you’d find in fancy schmancy hotels or holiday waterparks.
And equally importantly, these condos aren’t even at the top of the price range:
1. High Park Residences (Seletar/ Yio Chu Kang)
Sale price range: $580,000 – $2,388,000 (studio to 5-room unit)
Rental price range: $850 – $3,500 (room to whole unit)
This gem in Northeast Singapore surely knows how to take condo living up the notch.
One massive waterslide, several other slides connecting from one pool to another, aqua gym, Jacuzzis and infinity pools… You basically have a waterpark the minute you walk out your door!
2. Sky Habitat (Bishan)
Sale price range: $1,080,000 – $3,700,000 (1-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $1,200 – $6,800 (room to whole unit)
Reminds you of something? If this condo brings to mind Marina Bay Sands, that’s because it was designed by the same architect Moshe Safdie. Instant bonus points!
38 storeys up, the rooftop infinity pool at Sky Habitat gives you a panoramic view of the city, just as how the unique-looking condo poses as a striking icon in the heart of buzzing Bishan.
3. The Santorini (Tampines)
Sale price range: $595,000 – $1,500,000 (1-room to 5-room unit)
Rental price range: $1,000 – $3,500 (room to whole unit)
Did you know you could travel to Santorini by MRT?
We’re not kidding (well, only a little) – The Santorini in Tampines is heavily inspired by the scenic, idyllic Greek islands!
Enter a perpetual state of bliss as you relax at the sun deck, cabanas or as you dip your toes in the turquoise waters of the 50m lap pool, aqua gym or reflective pool.
4. Villa Marina (Siglap)
Sale price range: $1,200,000 – $2,000,000 (2-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $1,200 – $3,500 (room to whole unit)
Villa Marina may not be a new condo by any means but make no mistake, its just as glamorous and “boujee” as the new projects in the recent years.
How we got to know about this secret gem? One of our teammates is an ex-resident, and they personally vouch for this condo’s facilities. The mansion-like building at the back is a grand clubhouse, and is fronted by a massive lap pool with a kids pool beside it, shallow warm bubble pools with sun beds and jacuzzis, a cold pool with pressure jets and a hot (like, hot) bubble spa pool in the middle. Not pictured: the massage waterfall and a whole lot of pool envy.
5. City Gate Residences (Bugis/ Rochor)
Sale price range: $920,000 – $3,500,000 (1-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $1,050 – $7,000 (room to whole unit)
Now we aren’t advocating day-drinking, but who would say no to a poolside bar!
Along with a 40m pool, jacuzzi cove, spa jets and an aqua lounger all within the backdrop of an unblocked view of the city, you’ve got the perfect concoction for a nice relaxing day.
6. Costa Del Sol (East Coast)
Sale price range: $1,350,000 – $2,980,000 (2-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $1,050 – $5,500 (room to whole unit)
The little ones have plenty of their own entertainment with an entire suite of kid-friendly pool facilities, while you’ve got yours – this beachside condo has a designated diving pool fully equipped with a diving board.
7. Eight Riversuites (Balestier)
Sale price range: $699,000 – $3,000,000 (1-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $850 – $5,500 (room to whole unit)
At Eight Riversuites, strata terrace owners have the huge privilege of having their own private wet deck, sectioned off from the rest of the pool!
9. Kingsford Waterbay (Hougang/ Punggol)
Sale price range: $580,000 – $2,488,888 (1-room to 5-room unit)
Rental price range: $800 – $3,100 (room to whole unit)
They say go big or go home, but if you live in Kingsford Waterbay, going big is going home.
This condo pool basically spans through the entire condo area over 3 zones, boasting a 50m lap pool, 50m lagoon pool, water theatre, spa creek, jet pool, mist pool, adventure pool a wave pool, water slide playground, an aqua gym and a poolside bar. All of these accompanied with ample decks and lounging areas with scenic views and ambience.
Did we mention poolside bar?
10. The Lakeshore (Jurong)
Sale price range: $990,000 – $1,540,000 (2-room to 4-room unit)
Rental price range: $900 – $3,500 (room to whole unit)
If we were to picture the lost city of Atlantis, I think this would definitely be it. Well, inspired by it at the very least.
Far from the minimalistic, sleek and futuristic designs of newer projects, this one opted for a more artistic and underwater fantasy-like aesthetics, with facilities like a huge jacuzzi, spa pool, beautiful fountains and wide interconnected leisure pools.
